Silver is a multidisciplinary development and construction consultancy providing a range of services to major residential, commercial and mixed-use projects across the UK.
With no internal IT resource, Silver initially came to us with a failed server, that their incumbent support couldn’t fix. We could, and we’ve been working together ever since.
Much more than day-to-day support
Although our team provide an essential service to the 70-strong Silver team, through a combination of onsite and remote support, Conosco does much more than simply keep things running. We work closely with Silver’s management team to ensure their infrastructure is ready to cope with the company’s ongoing expansion and have already facilitated its growth from 15 to 70 staff members.
We’ve also advised on, and implemented large-scale projects including migrating to Office 365, developing robust, more efficient file storage solutions, and managing all IT elements of an office move, which included installing guest wireless network, new fibre connectivity and ADSL backup.
Conosco has been able to adapt to our growing needs and implement the right solutions to maintain and enhance our business efficiency. We set high standards for our own service levels, and we expect our suppliers to demonstrate a similar commitment to excellence. With our recommendations taken on board and implemented, the Silver team have been reaping the benefits of their new technology. Skype for Business and Office 365 has increased mobility by enabling employees to access all of their documents and software, and make calls as easily out of the office as they can while sitting at their desks.
In a business where a lot of time is spent onsite with clients, this alone has dramatically improved service delivery and reduced frustrations.
Meanwhile, our security and infrastructure improvements ensure that the company’s systems will remain stable and secure for the long-term.
