We celebrate diversity
Corporate Social Responsibility underpins our values and we’re committed to being socially accountable. Our people are at the heart of the organisation and their physical and mental welfare is at the forefront of our minds. We celebrate diversity and encourage career growth from within. We also have a dedicated CSR team with a mission to drive philanthropic and charitable efforts on a local, national, and global level.

Living the company values
As important as CSR is for the community, it is equally valuable for Conosco as a company. By participating in CSR activities, we know that our staff feels more connected with the world around them.
Giving back to the community
Our regular employee surveys also demonstrate that by giving back to the community in both South Africa and the UK, staff feel better about themselves, and consequently feel hugely motivated to deliver outstanding service to both our clients and each other.
Making a difference
During the COVID-19 pandemic our staff have stepped up and proactively offered their support in a wide variety of ways: sewing scrubs for key workers in the UK, growing vegetables to be distributed to families in South Africa, assembling food parcels, delivering groceries and prescriptions, or simply offering a friendly voice to an isolated individual. All these small acts of kindness help to make a tangible difference in peoples’ lives.
Staff volunteer days
All Conosco staff are entitled to paid time off each year which they can spend supporting a good cause of their choice or one from our central CSR team. Our pair of CSR Officers (one in the UK and the other in our South Africa office) spend a full day per month to help drive forward our programme of work whether championing human rights, protecting the environment, attempting to obliterate poverty, helping young students getting into the business or delivering small acts of kindness that make a big difference.
Helping stamp out hunger and poverty
As a group, we are keen to support initiatives that help to address poverty and hunger. These include regular donations to food banks and Christmas boxes schemes. A project currently being supported is Mama Ntombi, a relief and development organisation in South Africa that seeks to raise the poorest children out of debilitating poverty. Currently, over 250 children are being fed daily, with additional support being given to their families.
