Stay secure · Managed security

Every layer of your security, run by one team.

Managed security brings together the services that keep you protected: a 24/7 Security Operations Centre, threat and vulnerability management, email domain security, identity and access, and security awareness training. One team runs them all, so nothing falls between suppliers.

What you get

01

One team, the whole picture

Monitoring, scanning, email, identity and training run together, so what one service finds, the others act on.

02

Threats contained around the clock

A full security operations team watching your systems day and night, live in weeks rather than the years it takes to build one.

03

Evidence when you need it

Reporting that supports audits, client security questionnaires and cyber insurance renewals.

The services

Take them together for the full picture. Each one is explained in more detail on its own page.

Our approach

Security that goes full circle.

You don't need another product list. You need security that works as one. Every service we deliver has a defined role in one continuous cycle, aligned to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 and the National Cyber Security Centre's guidance.

Govern

Set the direction.

Security strategy, policy and risk ownership, with fractional CISO leadership.

Assess

Know your exposure.

Continuous visibility of your vulnerabilities, before attackers find them.

Protect

Close the gaps.

Hardened identities, devices, email and people.

Detect

Spot it fast.

24/7 eyes on your estate, investigating in minutes.

  • 24/7/365 Security Operations Centre (SOC)
  • Managed detection and response (MDR)
  • Security information and event management (SIEM) across endpoints, network, cloud and identity
  • Threat intelligence from more than 50 feeds

Respond

Contain it fast.

Expert-led containment and remediation, not just alerts.

  • Expert-led incident response with predefined playbooks
  • Automated containment: device isolation, session revocation and password resets
  • Root cause analysis on every confirmed incident

Recover

Bounce back stronger.

Tested recovery, with the lessons fed back into the cycle.

  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Business continuity support
  • Post-incident reviews that feed improvements back into Govern and Assess

Prevent what you can. Detect, respond to and recover from what you can't.

No single control stops everything, and attackers only need one gap. So the cycle keeps turning: what we learn in Respond and Recover strengthens Govern and Assess, and every incident makes your estate harder to breach. A wheel, not a wall.

What is included

  • 24/7/365 monitoring of endpoints, network, cloud and identity
  • Managed detection and response, with incident response and post-incident reviews
  • Continuous vulnerability scanning, monthly reporting and the Conosco Risk Score
  • SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI and MTA-STS, taken all the way to enforcement
  • Managed secure email gateway (Mimecast or Microsoft Defender for Office 365)
  • Dark web credential and lookalike domain monitoring
  • Reporting on unapproved AI tools and shadow IT
  • Mobile threat defence for company and personal devices
  • Security awareness training and phishing simulation

Who it is for

Organisations that need strong, provable security but not a large in-house security team, particularly in regulated sectors such as financial and legal services.

How it works

  1. 1

    Discover

We review your systems, tools and compliance obligations, and agree which services you need and what to monitor.

  2. 2

    Build

We audit your environment against our security baseline, then set up monitoring, scanning and email protection, tuned to you.

  3. 3

    Go live

Analysts watch around the clock. For the first month they respond by hand while learning what normal looks like.

  4. 4

    Automate and improve

Automated containment switches on, with monthly service reviews, continuous tuning and your risk tracked over time.

Questions we are often asked

What happens when the SOC detects an incident?

Our analysts investigate, confirm the threat and contain it, for example by isolating a device or disabling a compromised account. We then work with you on eradication, recovery and a post-incident review.

How quickly do you act on an alert?

For a high-severity alert, an analyst starts investigating within 30 minutes and confirms whether it is a real threat within four hours. Medium and low-severity alerts have longer targets, set out in our service levels.

How long does it take to get started?

Onboarding typically takes about three weeks, depending on how many systems are connected.

We already patch. Why do we need vulnerability management?

Patching updates software. Vulnerability management finds what patching misses: misconfigurations, default passwords, open ports, expired certificates and old components left behind after updates. We scan continuously, prioritise what matters and track every risk to a decision.

Can you stop criminals sending email that looks like it comes from us?

Yes. We find every service that legitimately sends email for you, align SPF and DKIM, then move your DMARC policy in stages from monitor to reject, so spoofed email is blocked without disrupting genuine mail. Many organisations stall at the monitor stage; we take you all the way.

What Microsoft licences do we need?

The SOC runs on Microsoft Sentinel, so you need an Azure subscription. Monitoring Microsoft 365 and cloud sign-ins needs Microsoft Entra ID P2 (formerly Azure AD P2), and multi-factor authentication must be on for every account. We check all of this before onboarding.

What is a SOC?

A Security Operations Centre is a team of security analysts, with the tools to collect and analyse activity across your systems, who detect and respond to threats around the clock.

Will this help with cyber insurance and Cyber Essentials?

It supports both. Monitoring, managed email security and endpoint controls are the kinds of measures insurers and auditors ask about, and our reporting gives you the evidence.
