What is shadow AI?
Shadow AI is the use of AI tools that have not been approved or assessed by the organisation, often by well-meaning staff. It can expose confidential data and create compliance risk.
Do we need ISO/IEC 42001?
Not always. Many organisations need proportionate AI governance rather than certification. We help you decide, and build towards 42001 where it adds value.
Who owns what you build for us?
You do. We build on your own platform and accounts, embed no Conosco intellectual property, and design everything for handover, so the infrastructure and the knowledge stay with you.
What can AI see of our data?
Only what your agreed data, security and approval rules allow. AI tools that help our team write and test code work within those rules, and AI features on live data are added only where you choose them, as a separate decision.
Does ISO/IEC 42001 mean we comply with the EU AI Act?
No. ISO/IEC 42001 is a management system standard that complements regulatory compliance, but it does not on its own demonstrate compliance with the EU AI Act.
