Executive Lunch Roundtable

Date & Time

Thursday 21st March 2019
12pm – 2pm

Keynote Speaker

Jane Honey, Product Director at Intercom

Following the recent celebration of International Women’s Day, our next Executive Lunch Roundtable will explore why there are still so few female leaders in technology, why so few women choose STEM careers, and the real-world working practices a business could employ to help redress the balance.

Our keynote speaker Jane Honey, Product Director at Intercom, has worked in several sectors throughout her career, and noticed that female leadership is particularly sparse in tech industries. The reasons for this disparity are manifold; for example, far fewer women than men choose to study STEM subjects in higher education and therefore do not initially follow tech careers. Research also indicates that a lack of visible role models discourages women from putting themselves forward for senior roles.

In this roundtable we will discuss how to encourage diversity in business leadership through practical, actionable strategies.

There are still a couple of places left for this exclusive lunch in an iconic restaurant – please email info@conosco.com if you would like to join us  or flag your interest in one of our future roundtables – but be quick!
